1. Our approach in one sentence

Percentage Snap is a calculator that runs entirely in your browser. Your numbers never leave your device, we do not ask for your name or email, and we do not create accounts. This policy explains the limited ways information can still reach us or our service providers.

2. Information we do not collect

• No accounts. There is no sign-up, login, or profile. We never learn who you are.
• No personal information. We do not ask for, store, or share names, email addresses, phone numbers, or payment details.
• No calculation history. The numbers you type are processed in your browser and are not sent to our servers, recorded, or saved.

3. Information collected automatically

Like almost every website, when you load this site our hosting provider receives standard technical data associated with the request: your IP address (which may be shortened or anonymized), browser type, device type, operating system, referring page, and the time of the request. This data is used only to deliver the site, keep it fast and reliable, protect against abuse, and measure aggregate usage. We do not use it to identify you personally or to profile you.

4. Cookies and local storage

Percentage Snap itself does not require cookies to work. If your browser already has cookies from other sites, they behave as they normally do. If advertising is shown on the site (see section 5), the advertiser may set cookies or use similar technologies on your device, as described below.

5. Advertising

Percentage Snap is free because of advertising. We reserve spaces on the site for ads; today these spaces are placeholders, and they may later be filled with advertising from a network such as Google AdSense. When third party advertising is active:

• Ad providers such as Google may use cookies or device identifiers to show ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.
• Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google’s Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com), and you can opt out of many third-party ad cookies at aboutads.info.
• We do not control and are not responsible for the data practices of advertising networks. Their own privacy policies apply to their processing.

6. Third-party services

The site is hosted by infrastructure providers who process the technical data described in section 3 on our behalf. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not share it with anyone else except where required by law.

7. Children’s privacy

Percentage Snap is a general-audience tool and does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Since no personal information is collected at all, none is collected from children.

8. Your choices and rights

Because we do not collect personal information, there is normally nothing for us to access, correct, or delete. You remain in control of your device: you can clear cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time, and the calculator will keep working.

9. Data security and retention

Your calculations stay in your browser and are discarded when you leave the page. Technical server logs are kept only for a short period for security and reliability purposes, then removed.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves, for example when real advertising replaces the placeholders. The “Last updated” date above always reflects the current version, and material changes will be highlighted on this page.
